Sub Jammers 2025
Our Sub Jammers competition is a high-energy crowd favourite at the convention, showcasing the incredible talent and speed of our Sandwich Artists™ from across Asia Pacific. Watch as they race against the clock to craft the perfect sub, turning sandwich-making into a competitive art form!
As we continue to emphasise efficiency and throughput in our restaurants worldwide, Sub Jammers puts these critical skills front and centre. It’s not just a competition; it’s a celebration of the vital role our Sandwich Artists™ play.
This year, we’re shaking things up with Territory Heats set to begin in early 2025. Champions from each territory will earn their spot in the Sub Jammer Grand Final, where they’ll compete with wild card entries for the ultimate Sub Jammer title at SUBCON25. Keep an eye on The Feed and stay connected with your Territory Teams for all the latest updates as the competition heats up.
Open to all Sandwich Artists™, Supervisors, Managers, and Subway® employees, the Sub Jammers competition is your chance to shine. Franchisees or registered SUBCON25 delegates can enrol contenders. Remember, finalists and wild card entrants should have the support of their Franchisee, who will sponsor their trip to the grand stage.

Territory Heats
Territory Heats will run from January to February 2025. Your Territory Team will be able to provide you with Territory Heat information relevant to your territory closer to the date. The winner from each SMO/BD territory will compete in the finals at SUBCON25.
When: January to February 2025*
Wild Card Heats
Missed your Territory Heats? Wild Card entries will be able to compete at SUBCON25 for one of three wild card entries into the Grand Final. Register for the Sub Jammers wild card competition when you register for the Convention. If you’ve already registered, contact subway@cre8itevents.com.au.
When: 11am to 2pm, Friday 28 March 2025*^
Grand Final
Winners from each territory, along with our wild card winners will then compete for the title of 2025 Sub Jammer during our SUBCON25 Trade Show. Don’t miss the chance to cheer on your favourite Sub Jammer and to watch a sub made in the fastest time.
When: 7:15pm to 8pm, Friday 28 March 2025*.
Winner Announced
The Sub Jammer winner will be announced at our Gala Awards Dinner.
When: 6pm to 11:30pm, Sunday 30 March 2025*.

^ SUBCON25 doesn’t officially open until 3pm on Friday 28 March 2025. Wild card entrants will need to ensure they are ready to compete from 11am on Friday 28 March 2025.

As if bragging rights of the best Sandwich Artist® across Australia and New Zealand wasn’t enough, we will also have some fantastic prizes up for grabs.

What to pack for the competition?
Pants/shorts/skirts must be solid black, solid tan, solid blue denim, or solid black denim. Colours other than solid black, solid tan, or solid black/blue denim are NOT allowed.
Closed-toed, closed-back footwear/sneakers must be worn. Open-toed or open-back footwear/sneakers, sandals, or high heels are NOT allowed.
