Former striker for the Australian national team, scoring 17 goals in 36 appearances, Kennedy is widely recognized for his contributions to Australian football, particularly for his outstanding performances in the national team.
The Subway Socceroos legend played a critical role in some of Australia’s most memorable moments on the international stage, including heading home the winning goal against Iraq that took us to the 2014 World Cup, as well as scoring in the Asian Cup Final in 2015, helping the national team lift its first-ever major international trophy.
Kennedy is now the General Manager Member Federations at Football Australia, responsible for maintaining a clear alignment between the governing body and its nine nation-wide community member federations.
